The letter from Jeremiah to the exiles in chapter 29 gives us something of God’s heart for the nations. The exiles are told to pray for Babylon and seek the peace and prosperity of the City. Likewise we are today encouraged to do the same. This message unpacks what that might look like in the places God has sent us, and encourages us to look at Jesus as the chief advocate for that command – to seek the peace and prosperity of the city, and to pray for it.
