May is missions month for Baptist Churches. As we are called to come alongside people, bringing Jesus and His life to bear through the gospel, we are also called to be people who prayer. In this message, we are encouraged to pray so that we, like Jesus, are empowered for gospel ministry through the intimate relationship and godliness that prayer promotes. We are also encouraged to see how prayer, through this intimate relationship, gives both material and spiritial aid in opening doors for the fruitful sharing of the gospel.
