Matthew 8:1-17
This passage has so much for us on so many different levels. Coming straight after Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, it tells us who the kingdom is for – the outcast, the outsider, the non-person and the undervalued. But there are also things we can learn from the actions of the leper, the gentile, the servant and Peter’s mother-in-law that cut across our tendancies to hold back from God’s call on our lives to make disciples.
