Seeking renewal and revival is not a new thing. It seems as though there is always a church wanting these things to various degrees. Often when we talk about healing we do not think about its relationship with renewal and revival, its spiritual implications. Yet Peter in 2 Peter 2:24-25 clearly connects healing to the forgiveness of our sins. It is this sort of renewal that we seek corporately as a church. Daniel’s prayer in Daniel 9:1-19 and Ezekiel’s prophecy in Ezekiel 37:1-14 are instructive and Pastor Richard uses them as a guide to seek corporate and personal renewal through repentance and faith to the glory of God.
