This sermon begins by discovering that Genesis 3:1-7 depicts Satan’s deception of Eve through attacks on God’s Word, Character, Nature and Being. Satan encourages Eve to believe that God’s Word is not true, God’s character is not good, His nature is not love and His being is not Holy. This pattern is also apparent in the Devil’s temptation of Jesus in Luke 4, and is the way He seems to influence the church by deception today.
