Working from texts including Matthew 28:16-20 and Romans 6:1-7, Pastor Richard explores baptism through asking three questions: What does it mean to get baptised? What does it mean to have been baptised? Why must we get baptised? Baptism declares our forgiveness that has occurred in the finished work of Christ Jesus. It marks our life direction as different as we live for God’s glory not ours. It demonstrates a different life source as we not live by the Spirit of God within us. And we belong to a different community, not one of our choosing but of God’s, as we live in the body of Christ, the Church.
