There are some songs that we do not know below like, Holy (1 Samuel 2:2) and Yes and Amen (Ephesians 1). I have been enjoying them for a little while and thought it might be nice to share them. The first both reminds of an old hymn, and links me in to that vision of worship in Revelation. It is a beautiful joyful song of praise. The second is just so full of scripture, it’s like reading Ephesians 1! I hope you enjoy them. Yes there is something a little humerous here too.
And just for a little bit of joy
Choices and circumstances
1 Samuel 13:1-15, 23; 14:1-13
Times of transition and dryness can be difficult in the life of people and in the life of a Church. It seems like circumstances can make demands on us. Working from 1 Samuel 13:1-15, 23; 14:1-13, this message compares and contrasts the ways Saul and his son Jonathan act when circumstances present adverse conditions to them. While Saul reacts out of fear, and in response to his circumstances, Jonathan responds out if his faith in a sovereign God. The outcomes are amazingly different. Saul loses everything. Through Jonathan’s faith filled response, God brings salvation
