Working through 2 Timothy 3:14-4:3, but focussing on verses 16-17 and verse 2 of Chapter 4, Richard unpacks the usefulness of the Bible to teach, rebuke, correct, train in righteousness and encourage believers. He also talks about the role and need for the work pf the Holy Spirit in understanding and applying the Scriptures. Given the need for the Bible in the life of a Christian, the question is not, “Why read the Bible?’ but rather “Why don’t we read the Bible?”
