Repentance – Romans 2:1-6
This passage is partway through Paul’s argument that shows all people, religious and irreligious; Jew and Gentile, are bound under sin and subject to God’s judgement. This message asks two questions: “Who is repentance for?” and “Where does it come from?” The pastor concludes that repentance is for all of us – the religious, irreligious and follower of Jesus, and it is not a once for all time event, rather it is a lifestyle. The “gift” of repentance comes from God but requires a person to act on it for it to be beneficial.
